I bought this many years ago in Calif.,I have no history on it unfortunately. I use it with an artificial tree. It has 8 paper houses, and 8 lights that go in under them, I believe it's German although there are no marks, I've never seen another like it. The houses have openings in the back, and I think it was to let the light go up into the tree. I enjoy using it, have no idea as to the value!
If anyone has any information on its history, I would love to know!
    Thanks, Mary
