No way in HELL could i afford to purchace this beautifull oil-on-canvas 31" X 37" masterpiece. I didnt have to, its (one of the best) pieces of art my father gave me and Angie in his collection. This piece has NEVER been cleaned & came from a heavy smoking owner previous to his term to be keeper of the piece. Its from the famous painter Harry Roseland & is part of a series of paintings he did called "The Fortune Teller" Ive gone on-line & seen several pieces from that series, mostly smaller paintings, sell for !!!!!!!! $ . We will never sell this so value isnt so important to me. Still, need to get an insurance value just in case of a trajedy. Just thought id share this, so Mani & Sean & all the gang could see that there is SOME culture down here in "hillbillyville" U.S.A. AGAIN no catagory for original oil paintings so as usual, mis-catagorized. Folk art ws as close as i could get. I believe this painting to come from just after the turn of the century.
