The past year or so I've been acquiring photographer’s tradecards and tradecards with vintage camera themes. Most photography themed tradecards are very artistic to the point of you wonder what it has to do with photographic galleries. (More to post and you'll see what I mean.)
Several months ago I got lucky and found this amazingly beautiful and fine condition c.1880 for Frank Pearsall; a gallery owner who patented a camera in 1883 that changed the course of portable camera design. It's another 'go along' for my Pearsall Compact camera (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/2722-the-1883-pearsall-compact-camera-and-its?in=user), 1870s business card, and tintype portrait of Frank Pearsall. Frank's Compact Camera is a cornerstone item in my collection and his tradecard is an important addition.
