This is my Coca Cola Heavy Porcelain Sign. It's approx. 4'x8' in size and displays very well with vibrant colors. I have placed a couple of vintage lights above the sign and looks great at night lit up. It's dated 1934 made in USA and Manufactured in Nashville.
This is a single sided sign, obtained in South Florida. I was told that it came out of N.Y. It was a job putting up, but well worth the time and effort.
Nice sign, almost in perfect condition. I have collected signs like these and anything advertising really. It makes a nice wall piece.
Very nice minty minty! :)
A chip by the L which looks like the size of a quarter (or bigger) is NOT considered "minty" by any advertising collector. The porcelain loss is also in the "face" of the sign, not the edge which detracts from the value even more. Just trying to give an honest opinion... Still a great sign and looks awesome displayed. Nice work.
LOL MMM always gotta argue with people dont you. This sign is in near mint condition; its just about perfect, only has minnor problems, so i think its okay to say its a minty sign...
It sure is a beauty!!
No! I don't have to argue with people. I gave an educated opinion. What harm was done?
Have a Happy 4th of July...2012!
no,coke.trevor he's just trying to put it down so he can try to buy it for cheap!
lol gargoylecollector
I'm not interested, but I'm sure gargoylecollector would step up to the plate and pay full retail...STRIKEOUT!
Nice sign and minty. Good find. Also, MMM stop arguing with people, it is probably one of the best signs you will see that has to do with coke.
Thanks for agreeing with me coke.moody.antiques!
Your welcome coke.trevor.cola, and also, collector4evr, post more things you have neat objects
Coke.moody.antiques, thanks for the kind words and I will post more neat things soon.
Your welcome collector4evr!
Thank you Rodney! I think it's a great looking sign but certainly not mint.
Fine am i allowed to say its Excellent + + condition, or are you guys going say its not to that too? Not too often do you come across these outdoor signs in this condition, heavens forbid i exaggerate a little bit by telling collector4evr its minty minty without getting called out on it..... twice!
LOL Ray :)
LOL, Trevor, you may need some medical attention.
Stop arguing about it, in my opinion it is a minty sign. It is my opinion. And coke.trevor.cola has his opinion to. I agree with him.
I'm talking about Signaholic, Quote on Quote "you may need some medical attention"
I think he was just joking around when he said that, its hard to tell if someone is serious or joking on here, I know im just kidding around :)
Eh ok, overall its a awesome sign, I'm new to this so :P. I collect this stuff, and i dont have a sign like this, but all I know is it is in awesome condition for the age and considering it was outside for years.
Wow. You guys are funny! It is a great sign, yes it is not mint but it is also not in an auction being represented as such, so who cares. It looks great on the wall, and I think it is displayed with great style. I particularly like the lights . . . they give it that old time "billboard feel". You would be surprised by how many versions of this sign are out there. There were over a dozen different titles available on the privilege panel. I am not an outdoor sign guy, but I do like this one.
earlycoke, Thank you for input and I agree with you, I'm not selling it, just showing what I did with it.
Yes, earlycoke your right also.
