This is a Vintage Chalkware Lollipop Advertising Display. It's called Chief Watta Pop. I think they were used in misc. shops to sell lollipops from the counter. I'm not sure of the age, if you know please let me know.

Very nice ! Love this . I believe this dates from late 1920 or 1930's . What a great and hard to find counter display .

Not to sound like a total dork but they just featured one of these on American Pickers. They said lollipop display at smoke stores. They also said hard to find. I would like one of those orange pops please, my favorite.

This piece is actually dated 1940s era. And the value would be around $300 to $375 in this condition. Yours would be worth more if it was not quite as beaten up condition wise. I've seen these go for BIG money in mint condition with no paint loss and vibrant color. Great find!

They also made a Bulldog Watta Pop counter display, I picked one up a our local Salvation Army. They were asking a $100.00 for it and I whined enough and got it for $80.00. It now on display at our candy counter.

They also made a Panda Bear version as well. Extremely rare though.
