    This is a Vintage NYC Porcelain Subway Sign, MINTY, MINTY, MINTY
    Condition!! Has what appears to be the original wood frame.
    I would show the back, but it is screwed on the wall. The back is very dirty looking with old paint dropping's. Not sure of the age, but think it's from 30's-50's?

      Beautiful! 1930s-1950s sounds right to me, though I'd lean to the early edge of that range. That "Transit Commission" title is extremely archaic: in 1940 came the Board of Transportation, and by 1953 came the Transit Authority. I would assume this predates both of those, or the latter at the least. Incredible condition, too.
