A true beauty! I love old ice-boxes. I have 1 close to yours that I had to make from pics.. Is yours functional with drains, slush box etc.? I made mine functional so i can actually use it when power goes for long periods(I live in the "Wayward islands". Your's is orig., so what brand? Orig.'s r really hard to find now. I spent many a month looking in the States to understand the drainage sys. etc. I would send a pic but don't see a provision for it here
YES NICE JOB
Lovely work on the piece -- looks truly amazing!
The combination of wood cuts is certainly different.
have not found a name anywhere on it .it does have some realy cool grains in the wood even on the sides
All your hard work paid off. It looks great.
Looking great. Is the nickle plating on the hardware still as good as it looks? Are the drip-pan & metal lining still in good shape?
had to paint the hardware and drip pan and lining were rusted with holes so i just primed and painted them all.turned out ok i just use it for a wine cabinet
You're lucky to have the drip-pan. One of the first things that disappears.
