My grandma has about 50-100 sets of antique salt and pepper shakers she received as gifts when she was younger. She has many different ones from Lal and Hardy, Coca-Cola, M&M and many more. She is currently retired and has been taking more interest in the things she has. She has then recruited me, the internet savvy one, to look into some things! That's when I turn to you! Please help me.

They are really cool. My wife is a big salt and pepper shaker collector and I know that the Pilsbury ones are worth some money and they all look old. May want to such ebay and see what they are going for if she is interested in selling them.

I surfed onto this page and decided to see if somebody with expertise in collecting might be able share a little history on a unique salt shaker.
I have a salt and pepper shaker that was pickup at an auction house which is in the form of a hound (dachshund). Its 10 inch long with holes for salt coming from the head and the pepper on the rear. Its marked" Farmers Market" a long with some other writing... probably location... but ink faded and can't make it out. This item has some crackling on the under belly of the dog but other that is in mint condition. Was hoping somebody might be able to identify the location of where these shakers may have originally been sold and what vintage it might be.
      Look forward to a response
