Well, here we go again, another installment of "Forgotten America." I came across this little town and could not resist taking several photographs. There were several blocks of structures in this condition. Yes, there were still several people living in the town.
enjoy.

Any info on what the buildings were? Are?
Fixer upper?
See if it's for rent I know someone for it ! Love your photo's Pack !
looks like rain isnt much of a factor to these dwellings, luckily there no local building codes /enforcement to deal with like in Tulsa county.

Please take care of yourself, Packrat. How bout venturing to some regions with cooler climes and a bit of snow peaked mountains?....Enjoying this series so much. miKKo
Thank you very much for the kind words miKKoChristmas11, glad you enjoyed it. My idea of a vacation is not like most peoples. Just give me a camera and some desolate country and I am a happy guy.

Packrat-place : Your pictures of old abandoned houses I like. Have a lot of stuff I like, after I'm also fond of taking pictures with an artistic touch.
Thanks for sharing these images.

I could sit and gaze at these kinds of things for days - imagining what they were like in their early splendor; the "busy-ness" of the couple who may have lived there -- mom hanging laundry on the line, the children playing about while chickens roamed the yard; a dog barking, or a lazy cat just lounging around. Beautiful photographs!
