ha bell wheres your things on here and thanks what do you call this
ok gut it thanks bell do you know how old it is or french ,italian ?
It looks like a 1920 to'40's Woman's vanity . I remember these at my grandmothers house and other older aunts they all seemed to have one and then they had a dresser set on top lower shelf on a tray with hair brush .combs.perfume ect . I bet you could make it look like a million bucks with your talent Lundy ! Love it
manikin thank you so much for the kind words ,i wish i knew how much it would be
I used to have a similar one that belonged to my aunt... probably bought in the 1930s. I've never forgiven my husband for selling it when we moved out of state... I didn't find out until we moved in & it wasn't there. He's still in trouble nearly 30 years later!
Very lovely, Lundy.. a great find!
thank you if he wants to make up he can have this one
hi everyone ,is this a french piece t y
hi all can some please tell me what style or where it may have been made thanks
how lovely! may I suggest that you call your local Antique stores and see if they give free verbal appraisals. Like the others said they did do veneer in the 1920's and 1930's but, they also did it in the late 1800's. I have a gentleman's mirror that has veneer from the late 1800's.
thank you antique empath and all ,ill do that
