This guitar belonged to my brother who was murdered in 1968. In has been stored since then. When my parents passed I ended up with it.
Any input would be appreciated

I do believe you are correct, 1 single coil P90 pickup. A friend has the same guitar, a bit later around a 1963, worth between $1000/$1500. being that yours is a 50's model, it would only enhance that.
Looks like it could be an early 50's CE-100 Capri.T-100 has the harp tailpiece I believe.T-100 has grover tuners also.The knobs look older than a 60's era guitar.What does the inside tell you check the lable and any stamps on the inside.Is there a number on the back of the headstock.Also if the case is original to the guitar I wouldn't take any less than $1800 for it..but thats just me.Its a beauty!
It just shows T100 no letter the serial number on the label matched the serial number on the back of the headstock. #7680.
The serial number you have would date the guitar to 1958.Take good care of it,its a beauty!
Hi, Yes, this does seem to be a late 1950's model, from best I can tell from your photos in very good shape. I have a similar model from 1957 without the pickup or the cutaway. I actually owned an identical guitar to that from roughly a decade later (mine was a 1967). Great sounding jazz guiter with excellent action. Very smooth to play and it was nice to not always need an amplifier. Mine sold for $750 about 10 years ago, so provided yours in playable condition it should be worth at least twice that amount.
I have I beleive to be a 1967 SF 4 #145392 and I was told years ago it is one of one hundered mohogeny neck mohogeny body starfire 4 made in 67 can someone help conferm and how much is it worth I have had it sence 1973
It's a beautiful instrument all original it's seems love the tobacco sunburst, this is a collectible I would pass it down to someone in my family that plays or keep for a child that might pick it up one day. I own the same guitar but it has 2 pickup with the same plastic covers but mine is not original the machine heads were replaced and it is now black in color
I have a T-100 from 1959, and it's a beautiful guitar. Set up right it has great action and a gorgeous sound. The case you have is the same case as mine, albeit in much more pristine condition, so it's probably the original.
