This is a ROLLFAST Bicycle I found under a barn in Gardner, Massachusetts that was being torn down. It was estimated by the property owner to be put down there during the 1940's. I'm estimating it is about a 1932. It's in fair condition at best, but restorable. It features the old "H" skip-tooth sprocket, designed by the D.P Harris Company of New York, originally founded in the 1880's. The leather seat is still in good condition. Any input from anyone on the exact model of this bicycle would be appreciated.

Great find. It's pretty cool to see pieces with this kind of age.
Sorry I don't have any info on it.
      Thanks for sharing.

This bike looks like it might be a SAVAGE, i have two of these bikes that my father handed down to me. I have yet to see another untill now, I've tried to buy parts for these bikes (extras) like: headlamps with rear tail light, mudflaps, horns, tanks, etc. but they're very hard to come by because this bike was a limited edition promotional deal by the shotgun company called "SAVAGE". I could be wrong, but look into it, if it is a savage hold onto it. Its definately a keeper!

it looks identical to my 32 rollfast except for the front tusks which mine has,,,,,i will take a closer look at mine and see if they are the same, mine also has a wooden front wheel and a rollfast metal badge on front

after talking a closer look at my 32 rollfast, i notice a lot of differences, your front sprocket is completely different and so is your seat post.

I was pleased to see this old rollfast bike, wow. I owned one of these, Christmas 1943, given to me by my father. Bikes could not be found during world war 11 so I was fortunate to get mine second hand. It had wooden rims, the same seat as shown, original paint in great condition. Tires were tubeless.

Neat bike, frame was often called Motobike in the catalogs. Built by HP Snyder for DP Harris, badged Rollfast. This seat-post clamp design was only used for one year: 1936. The next year the seat tube used a "conventional" clamp with bolt.
