i found this one years ago and like the vintage looks of it you can tell it has had a hard life and now it sits in my house to rest if there is anyone who has seen something like this before please share the experience with me because i didnt
Most of the time when I see a piece like this I immediately think "modern decorator piece", but this one has the right age and construction that I think it could be an older piece. First thought would be depression era, but the design is such that it might be 20s as well. One doesn't usually see wooden stuff like this, so I personally think it it very cool. This is something I'd like to look at in hand, since you always have to be careful with wood (being that they are all unique and anyone could make another one in their garage).
It looks like a good 10-14", which also fits the size of many toys of the period.
What is the "tag" on the front and what are the handles made out of? The truth about these things is usually found in the little stuff; the hardware like nails and screws are good indicators.
I love it!
thanx rambow i took a look at your impressive collection as well beautifull stuff and the tag says nusa or musa i will upload a picture of it later
It says something? I didn't see that coming! Research will still be difficult but that's more information than I thought there would be on this. I'm looking forward to the images!
Try searching Husa. I have seen wood trains made by Husa and your emblem has a train on it. I think they were from Germany in the 20-30??
