I bought this at Goodwill for $1 It says 1874 on back of frame and in pencil also Mc_______ or maybe M____. Oh well probably never know, It is nice frame and matting, and from San Francisco. 2nd photo is back of photo. toracat

The photograph format is called a cabinet card.
These were popular from the 1870s- 1900.
