I decided to clean out all the scrap wood underneath my father's former work bench. I was surprised to find dirt and not a continuation of the cement. I naturally dug down in the dirt and pulled up these two objects.
The first says Gould Co. Seneca Falls NY and appears to be some sort of pump but for what I don't know. I have no idea what the other piece is for.
This house is 110 years old. Any ideas?

Hi Cindyjune. I have the same pump but not as complete as yours. It would sit in a bucket and the side piece would be outside the bucket to put your foot on to anchor it while moving the handle up and down. I assume it is for oil or some other liquid. The second item appears to be a scoop for lifting food from a deep fryer.

      Thanks Triker,
I looked up the manufacturer, Gould Bros co in Seneca Falls, NY and they are still in business! The pump action on this one is frozen up so I'm going to apply rust buster and see if I can get it going! It was strange to find both these items buried together in the dirt!
      Thanks again.
