1584 Queen Elizabeth I silver shilliing.

I noticed that a lot of people on here collect coins so I hope you enjoy.

I bought this coin at a coin show for $30. I've always liked Queen Elizabeth's contribution to English history and know that she is one of the most popular monarchs that England has ever had. I know the hole in it damages the value but i really liked the detail on the back of the coin. The date is unmistakable.
Can anybody recommend an authority who can authenticate this coin? I put the price in here because I'm not trying to spend a ton of money on something I have very little invested in.

Based on your scan this is a genuine coin. The coin was holed so it could be worn as jewelery which is not uncommon for that time and place. Note that by the location of the hole we can see that the coat of arms was the main point of interest and not the queen.
