Fredric Remington Genuine Reproduction

This is the Fredric Remington sketch of a First Cavalry, Troop A trooper made in 1898 and presented to Troop A (Milwaukee Light Horse Squadron) on their twentieth anniversary in 1899. The original sketch was in black and white but in 1964 a colorized reproduction was made and distributed for the veterans reunion of the 105th Cavalry. This is one of the few times when the words “Genuine Reproduction” really do apply.
