Ogden's Tobacco company was started in England in 1860, was bought by American Tobacco Company in 1901, and was then later sold to Imperial Tobacco Co. in 1902.
The company produced a number of different brands over this time and I'm unaware of a resource where you can determine dates for individual brands. Additionally, even after it was acquired by the larger companies Ogden's name still appears to even later dates. Without extensive study of old newspaper ads to see when brands were being heavily promoted it would be difficult to date a tin exactly, except in cases where the tax stamp is still attached.
