Many of these jewelry I have you already shown on this site but then as separate ornament but never as set (parure). These jewels are classic Silver Victorian jewels.
The necklace, locket (with golden letters) and bracelet were published with pictures in the book: Antique jewellery by John Benjamin, pages 137/139. A book that I you would like to recommend because it's a teachable book for the starting antique jewelry collector.
I for myself think it very nice to collect jewelry that belong together, you too?
Ahhhh, more pretties! I seriously want to come over to drool and play dress up.
Hai AmberRose, the only thing I can say, come over and let's enjoy togther!
You have the most beautiful jewelry I have ever seen. Just plain stunning!!!!!
What a very nice compliment, thanks ! I do my best and only wants to get something I realy like and this in perhaps from the age of 15. I think I have this from my grandmother she bought a very nice ring with diamonds when she was in her 80's.
Kathycat, but my latest passion are real antique Micro Mosaics jewels with very tiny tessarae in not so often images!
Most beautiful!!! Ah, if I had a coupon redeemable for anything from the Collectors Weekly site, I'd snatch these up and search for something wonderful to wear with them. Most beautiful!!!
miKKoChristmas11, thanks for your funny comment, that's a good idea, perhaps I can rent out my jewelry than it would be possible to let more ladies enjoy, apart from the online images.
Does anyone of you has any idea what carat the gold decoration/letters are standing in front of the locket?
