My parents had this clock for many years in their home, they always talked of getting it working but never made it that far. I have been searching online to find the exact clock and there are many, many clocks out there I have found out! lol. I have yet to find this exact one and learn more about it. My mom was a huge collector of clocks and now I carry that tradition on for her, I have one full wall devoted so far to all her clocks :) So if anyone knows a place I can learn more about this clock and what possible things might be done to get it going, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks and have a great day :)

      Hi,
This is a rather popular model of clock generally made by Howard Miller, a very popular maker. I could give you tips on getting it going, do you know what the problem(s) is? A clock always needs oiling on the pivots, which are the end of the gears, every 2-5 or so. Nice Regulator clock and let me know. Good luck with it otherwise!

Hi! I really appreciate your time and information :) I would love any help, suggestions, ideas, I do not know what it wrong with it, I know it used to work when my parents had it, I remember seeing and hearing it as a child. Beyond that I honestly am clueless but would be delighted to have any help. Either here or if you want to email me- amberdesimone@hotmail.com Thank you again and have a great day :)

You are very welcome! You can try basic things like turning the hands, stopping at each quarter to see if it chimes or if the movement stirs in any way. You can also try winding it, (it generally winds clockwise) and if it jammed that indicates, that the spring is fully wound. If so, just leave it, or them, and try swinging the pendulum. If it runs, the spring will unwind, and when it does, wind it up about half way just to see if it chimes when you turn the hands. If the pendulum stops, just oil it with any synthetic oil, or clock oil that you can obtain online. To unwind the spring again, you can also take the pendulum off. Let me know if this is of any use to you :) Regards.

      Hi again,
I just noticed a wire going across the movement on pic 2. Is that holding the hammers up? You may need to release that too. Thanks!
