    Found this 1896 dime in back yard.. from my research I know it is called a barber dime..there is no letter like "O" "S" or "D" anywhere on it...does anyone know if it is valuable?

      AR I did not say my dime was worth $3000 I only stated I saw one on ebay , a 1896 barber dime going for over $3000. I do not know exactly what I have and came across this site and thought it would help me I do appreciate all comments

      LISSA thank you...yes it is a great story..I was just wondering yesterday if the builder of my house may have dropped it as we were digging tree roots out when it was found..
