    I came across this clock in a old trunk filled with items that belonged to my father. I dont know very much about it . I havent had to much luck trying to identify it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

      Hi,
      What you have is a german Junghans mantle clock from about the 40's. Junghans is a very popular maker and is collectable along with Mauthe clocks too. Does it chime on rods, like a kind of chime called Ting-Tang?
