    Hi All
Thanks for taking the time out to look at my page and hopefully you can assist me in finding out about this watch.
I know who it is made by, but what I am looking for is for the date it was made.... I suspect it to be WW2 (so 1940s) but may be wrong, I do not know if the strap is original or not.
I do know that it came from an estate which has military links to the UK Forces, but not the U.S forces, which is whom this was issued too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, is it worth having the hands restored as the luminous paint has long since gone from them, or is it best to leave it as it is?
I do not wish to devalue the watch in any way, if indeed it is valuable. I wouldn't sell it anyway for it has great sentimental value which far out weighs ANY monetary value it may have. I would be interested to know if it needs adding to the contents cover of the insurance policy on our home or not, or would it be automatically covered. My insurance covers watches up to the value of £500 automatically, so if worth less then at least my insurance won' go up.

Any information at all will be very gratefully received.

    Thank you in advance

I would also like to add that it is in such good condition (working) as it was found stored in a leather watch wallet, were I suspect it has spent many years.
It does have a serial number A0-35-166 stamped on the rear along with the order number which is 35 - 2409P. It was issued to the U.S Army - AC. (This is stamped on the rear of the watch too along with specification number and MIR'SASSY DWC Number)
      Thanks Once Again
