Found this wonderful piece of A. Allison art glass today. Couldn't believe it. Thrift was particularly dry because of the Labour Day sales so I was just cruising through. Five bucks of cool blues and purples. I love it.
Goes well with his buddies above our pizza oven fireplace.
Wonder how long it will take the hubby to notice the addition?

I own a couple Arthur Allison vases, and he does great work! Love this one too.

Notes:
1) this is fireplace, just an ugly one we call the Pizza Oven.
2) Previous to our pretty floating shelf, there was a piece of driftwood above the fireplace. Not a cool piece of driftwood, but a really ugly rotten piece of wood.
3) the fireplace shot makes my place look really empty, so very not!

Vintagefran...hello and thanks. No, he has not noticed. (Heehee). The pizza oven has gone through some changes due to this springs floods. Now brick painted white, and some rearranging and more rearranging and more. I really need to post more of my glass.
He's still not noticed after a year!
Just shows how unobservant men can be, :)
