This lovely table lamp is the favorite of my collection. It was purchased over 30 years ago in upstate New York from an antique dealer who had no idea as to the manufacturer. It has stumped me all these years and
stumped those I have shown it to. Do you have any ideas who might have manufactured it? It is too beautiful not to have a heritage.

Very nice lamp.
I just went through all of my catalog cuts from that era and came up blank. The geometric's and the mix of greens on the top sure look Tiffany Studio'ish. I have had Tiffany geometric's that were very similar.
Your best bet to ID it will be through old catalogs. Good luck.
Thanks Dave, I too feel it has some Tiffany aspects.
I have shown it to local Tiffany dealers but they could not identify it as such
They also could not identify the style. The Tiffany lamps I own and have seen do not have similar shade designs.
I hope to find a picture of any lamp that is similar in design.
Thanks for your interest and remarks...

What a beautiful lamp! I've never seen a lamp with a closed shade on top like that. Very cool.
Wow! One of the most beautiful lamps I've ever seen.
is this item for sale? thanks
Until I can find the name of the manufacturer I don't intend to sell it at this time.
That is beautiful. Just seeing such lovely old things makes me smile. Even if you don't find the information you're looking for, you've certainly made my day a little brighter. :)
i found a lamp and it looks like a tiffany lamp,,,,, the shade is staned looking glass and around the edge it has the little ladden lamps, probley the base is puter or bronze.
maybe H & B.... beautiful
Awesome lamp!!
Looks to be a Slag Glass piece. Shade looks like a Mushroom... No marks at all??? Dave
Send pics to Carlheck.com see what he tell you. Tell him I sent you. Dave
Thanks deniseo, glad you like it. There are absolutely no markings on the
lamp. It dosen't appear to me to be a B&H lamp style. The Base is bronze and the
shade is leadded glass construction. I would like to believe that it is an unsigned Tiffany or such but I have shown it to Tiffany collectors who do not recognize it though its quality is very good. I guess I must keep on looking for its pedigree. Thanks again.
officialfuel..Glad you like it.
As previously indicated, it has no markings whatsoever. The shad is definitely
leaded glass construction not typical slag glass shade construction. Any leads as to the manufacturer would be appreciated...Thanks
Sorry LampLady, didn't mean Slag Glass as the lesser type of lamps. I meant the panels have that melted glass look. Did you contact Carl Heck? He could tell you if its a Tiffany or not??Dave
I really think that this lamp is made by Williamson. The shade is similar to others of the manufacture that I have seen and was a transition piece from a hanging lamp to a table lamp. It could be a marriage, but it looks to good together. I will do more research, but I would put my money on Williamson.
