My mother gave two of these tractors to my brother and I in the early 70s. One to play with, and one to keep in the box! Seeing as she only had one toy in her life that was handmade from her father, she always saw the value in keeping toys in good condition.
We lost the other little guy who sat on the tractor and stole him from this box. That tractor is long gone now. This one however sat in the box in her house for years before she passed away. I've kept it for 5 years in my house not sure what to do with it. I'm curious if it is worth anything. I've seen similar on eBay for 100 and 200 dollars.
It doesn't spark anymore, but it does run and the rubber treads are in mint condition as is the entire tractor other than the guy missing.
I'm not a collector of any kind, don't have anywhere nice in my house to display it, but think it's pretty cool and may bring a collector some joy.
Wish it were made in the USA. Anyone have any other information about these things?
