This piece was found about 30 years ago at a local flea market. It appears to be quite old, I was hoping to find out what I can about it. I Know it is an image of a poster entitled "Drink Coca Cola 5 Cents" The models name is Hilda Clark, she was the face of Coke from 1895-1903. I'm trying to find out if this is real or a reproduction.
I remember seeing alot of reproductions of these in the 70's
This a fake, not a repro. the difference is repro's are facsimiles of genuine stuff. Fakes/fantasys are made up items that never existed. they never made one of these in the early 1900's. they made several variations of this, this seem to be the most popular. Made in the 70's, not worth a dime to coke collectors, but maybe $5-10 bucks to a decorater.
I just posted one similar to this but the poster is arranged differently and appears to have more water damage than yours. Curious to know the dimensions since mine appears larger in size. Where did you get your original information on date and models name?
I also Have one of these, idéntical. I also have one frase in an old frame. I also, Would like to know Its history?
