Yesterday some friends and I were out riding our motorcycles on the roads of Indiana. We always stop at different antique shops along the way and anywhere we might think we can find a nice collectible to add to our collection. At this one particular stop I found this Master one cent peanut vending machine. It's porcelain and in excellent shape for being 89 years old. The serial no. is B62373. I made my best deal and out the door we went. I had a passenger so my friend let me strap it to his bike and off we went to another small town. You never know what your going to find out picking. This pick satisfied my addiction for the day. Not only was it great weather to ride the motorcycles but brought home a nice collectible to go with my collection.

You're right...it's a beauty, especially for being 89 years old! Love, love, love that seat in the background of your picture, too!

This doesn't have much to do with your early machine but might be interesting.
I was going to aviation school near Ft. Rucker, AL in the 60's & 1 yr the peanut farmers were giving gunny-sacks of peanuts to everybody. I asked why and a farmer I knew told me there was a shortage of peanuts. "So you're giving them away?". "The peanut butter producers have declared a shortage & not buying so they can raise prices, so we can only give our crops away". Prices doubled on peanut butter & of course has never gone down. Welcome to big business capitalism!
