Hello fellow Collectors!
This item, a soapstone carving from the Canadian north, is up for auction does anyone have any recommendations as to how much I should bid? I know soapstone art is in demand in somehow I doubt that means all soapstone art!
Some smaller animal sculptures are also included.
The scratched in signature on the bottom says Henry Anavack...I could not find him under artist listings anywhere.
This site and the people who belong to it never cease to impress me. Your collective, knowledge, advice and even casual comments have been invaluable to me in the past. This site is a prime example of how the internet has truly enhanced lives and brought people together.
