Kevin, I believe photo 1 was graduation day and I see were Fred has one stripe by then. The dark colored Olds was my folks car. My brother joined the Navy in 1958, re-enlisted for six more years in 1962, but decided to get out of the navy after 10 years?
My brother ended up being 2cl Aviation Ordnance Man. He spent most of his career on Aircraft Carriers. six months out, and six months shore. He was aboard the USS Independence CV-62 and that ship was sent to Vietnam, the next carrier was the USS Saratoga CV-60, last was the USS Forrestal CV59 it was sent to Vietnam. I think the sea duty is what made him decide not to re-enlist after ten years.
Thank you blunderbuss2

Boot Camp at NTC San Diego beginning in March of 1958, but can't remember my company number. My name is Robert M Harris, can anyone help?
here's a link to Anchor Yearbooks; scroll down to 1958 and you can check the various companies during that time
