I had this around the house for awhile and desided to clean up some of the rust, when a did, I noticed that it looks to be double stamped kind of on the bottom of the patent number, and a bit on top of it but can't figure out exactly what is says, it looks to be maybe the Apr patent date.
Back reads "Made in U.S.A." and number is 23.
Has anyone ever seen one like this?

Have a few of these examples myself, made around the time of WWII (1943-44). Most of the examples I've seen are Coca-Cola's.
