I was helping a friend go thru his grandmoms stuff after she passed away and came across this neat old inkwell. It's in great shape, original condition and great patina. On the outside it is decorated w/little stars resembling * except bigger. On the bottom are names.one is GESETZITCH. I think it's hard to read.the other is GF SCHUTZT.in the middle is an anchor w/ a serpant w/a snakes head and a fin for a tail.I have had no luck finding any info on it.would greatly appreciate any help I can get.thank you ,Holly.

Found this cool site..."Travel inkwell" seems to fit the piece. I would have never thought of that, who knew? You can also se the variation of the "dolphin and anchor". You're in the ball park!
