I have had this set of lovely plates for years and have done heaps of research trying to find out something about them and found nothing! I have stuck every word available describing them into google, so I'm hoping someone may recognise them and let me know. I believe they could be anything from the 1930s to the 1960s.
Even the small plates are quite heavy, daisies? molded in clear glass and cased? - overlay? with yellow/lemon/citron glass, the petals have been engraved to reveal the clear again. They also have a satin and polished background which give it a 3D affect.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you for looking....:-)
Many thanks czechman and mustangtony!...:-)
