Trying to track down some information about this piece by English artist Martin Turner which was given to us on the death of a very dear friend four years ago.
It was purchased in the early 80's from a shop run by Luis Porretta in Gillingham, by my friends who had other Martin Turner pieces and who knew Luis well. I am informed that the picture shows the rear of Martin Turner's family home in Gillingham. There is no name or number visible and it appears to have been painted directly onto board.
If you are able to provide any information I would greatly appreciate this.
Many thanks
JohnM
JohnM, I feel kwazy, because I could swear that I've read somewhere else about this particular Martin Turner work, but I can't seem to find it again now.
Well, this comment will at least bump your post to the front page here at CW S&T for awhile.
I'll also link drchrisstuttle's blog here:

Ha! Now I feel embarrassed, turns out I've posted pics before, but hey, a lot happens in 9 years right?!
JohnM, No worries. :-)
Boy howdy, a lot indeed does happen in nine years.
