I purchased this lamp at a garage sale for $35.00. It seems to be in very good shape although I will have it rewired before using. It stands almost 5 feet and the bottom of the base is marked "BROOKS 115". I am interested to know the age of the lamp, its approximate value, where it may have been manufactured and what type of shade I should look for. I have tried to look up "Brooks" but have had no luck.
Thanks you in advance!
You need a torchier shade to fit on top and 3 decorative candelabra bulbs you can obtain in the lamp & lighting dept of most stores. It looks like the fitter screws are missing too which you can ontain from B&P lighting supplies. Torchier shades are often available on ebay but be careful to obtain a nice antique one with the correct fitter for your base.
