Restored this little guy some time ago, just have'nt wanted to face the music for creating another "fantasy piece"!
It was missing a back wheel, so I made a new set out of maple , new axels, stickers, and walla!!
Free-handed the door logo, not a great job, but easy to fix later on when I get a sticker that will fit!
Nice job Bernie!

Hey Bernie, I think you did a fine job! Just so you know, if I couldn't find the stuff I wanted, I would do the same thing.
Thank-you Michael & Perry for the nice comments!
Thank-you Bellin, Amy, trukn20, leighannm, Flanker,& Chevelleman69 !
Beauty special repro job Bern! Your really turned that rough piece into a sweet truck, who knew it was a diamond in the rough. Real Art.
Thanks Ray, I was ready for that!
And thanks Dave for the nice words of encouagement! I've got a couple more Frankentrucks in mind to do, got to get them done before the Santa shop calls for me to start!
Thanks everyone for the "Loves"!!
Bernie
There is nothing wrong with taking an old useless item and making something great out of it for your collection.
Here are some push on caps that would give the axles a more finished look. You can get them in black as well.
