The original frames for these old cardboards are as hard to find as good cardboards are, so when you get tired of looking at a nice poster laying around, you make a frame!

That looks a heckuvalot like a Kay Displays piece Bernie. Looks great!
Thank-you Amy, all are well here & you? Hope you survived having the world over for the Olympics, was it crazy?
Thanks Dave, kinda copied ,with-out being exact of course, a version of the Kay.
Score another one for Home Depot!
I agree with Dave, you really did a nice job on this frame Bernie!
Nice job for sure!! I've got about 100 things that need framing, are you busy???
Never too busy for a fellow 8-pack Tommy, bring them over buddy!
LOL, that sounds like a years worth of work there Tommy.
I need to get my arse moving on these little "projects" , but the summer flew by, work is taking me away, it's hockey season now, I need my naps.........you know, you know!!!!
Looks really nice!
all you need to do now is stamp Kay display on the back.
Great Idea and looks sweet!
I'd say it raises the value, real or fake frame.
Thank-you spriteboy for the nice comment! I would never want to deceive by putting a stamp on something un-original, but I take that as a compliment!

Very nicely done - I have no problems with this (ha, ha)
Just sold our original Coca-Cola Double-Sided Advertising Vintage Cardboard Sign in an original Kay Frame and just hope the new owners love it as much as we did! We held on to it for at least 20 years and just thought it would be better for a collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia to have it and enjoy! It was used in a family old time ice cream shop/dance hall and we were so intrigued w/ the Kay Frame idea! Hope it's in good hands!!!
Thanks for the nice comment antiquejoe4,
Cheers!
