Swedish, Strombergshyttan? Austro will know. Strange it is not signed.

thanx for loving mustang
thanks for lovin kerry 10456 and kind comments scandi
I would say Smålandshyttan as their pieces tend not to be signed.
good point kisslike!excellent way to put it scandi thanks for inspiration!
:o) Josef Schott is the only designer I can think of from that factory
Another possible is Bengt Edenfalk for Skruf but the colour would be graded. The ground pontil doesn't look like Stromberg either, I suppose.
thanks for loves and comments dear collectors
thanks lorenzo and amberrose!
thanks mikkochristmas
nice shape and color
thanks vlkma!
Not all Strömbergshyttan are signed... I'd say 95% or more of them are, but I've got a couple of typical Strombergshyttans unsigned. If it is, it should be one of the Gunnar Nylund designs... I've got two of his designs at home. One of them is a engraved one (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/40113-vase-with-engraved-fish-and-algae-gunna?in=collection-127) and the other is dark green but I swear the shape isn't just the same than yours.

@kisslikeether: I am interested in what you say about Smålandshyttan. Do you think any of these two in this link (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/42218-two-swedish-vases-1950s) could be from Smålandshyttan?
Ooops, the real link is this, please delete the other comment :)

LOL I'm so glad it made you laugh! :)
It's a Strömbergshyttan vase, model number B 936 with coloured underlayer x70 (ametist). Designer is a guess: Asta Strömberg, stabled on that she have designed the Sputnik vases B895 in similar form (eg. same proportion for the inner bottom) but not as wide and compleately round instead of oval seen from top and bottom. But since I have not seen any drawing of the vase with signature, or have other things going on that would secure the author, it is only a speculation. Asta seems to have designed several vases in this number range from around 900 and up. Erlier from about B400 - just over B500, according to reliable information I have. From ca B600 will then Gunnar Nylund came into the design.
