I had a real 1963 Impala 409 SS. Raced it 50 times and lost only twice to cars that were better geared and had more money invested. In the 80's most guys didn't know what a 409 was. The Beach Boy's were off of the radio and I had a 4-speed. This model was an inexpensive ebay find. If you're the builder...THANK YOU. It brought back sweet memories of great times.

My car in my senior year was a 63 Impala SS I built from 3 different cars in 1972, it had a 283,4 barrel, 3 on the floor 1 wheel peel, chrome reverse wheels w/ baby moons and dual exh cherry bombs and of course a CB and 8 track. I took it to the local dragstrip on Fri nights, great memories!
