Serving Tray

I have had this for a long time and it was hanging on a wall. Have always wonder were it came from and what the scene is. Looks to be painted on glass and is enclosed with metal. There are two screws on each side which look like the could have been for handles. I am not even sure what category to list is under. Thanks for looking
