Has anybody ever seen one of these before? I haven't been able to find anything about it online. My sisters boyfriend says he got it as a prize when he went to the fair as a kid. It's framed glass with the Transformers design printed on. No cracks or chips anywhere and It's frame where you could hang it on the wall. No markings on the back. Any idea as far as identification or value would be great.

It's true. These were carnival prizes that were particularly popular back in the 1980s. They were very common and came in a variety of themes (anything that was popular at the time: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters, Def Leppard...apparently, Transformers). We enjoyed these as kids. Currently they appear to range from $4 to $25, most averaging around $6 (cartoon/misc) to $8 (rock bands) (though I can't find a Transformer one, exactly). Because of their artwork and standard size, they were fun to collect. They may not be worth a lot (you can't retire by selling them), but for that same reason they are an easy vintage collectible for someone who is on a budget.

Also, if you call it a 'vintage carnival mirror', I think you'll find more similar products to compare it to.
