Fenton produced off-hand art glass for one year in 1925. They gave the glassblowers a one year contract but at the end of the contract sales were slow and the warehouse was full. It was too expensive to produce.
I read that they sold off stock to employees at 50 CENTS a vase.

there aren't too many Fenton pieces that are truly attractive but this line was.
