I have had this piece for several years and have always thought the pattern was called "comet" but have never been able to verify it.
The comet patterns I find on the net do not look like this one. It is extremely similar to the Lenox "Comet" pattern of 1902 although, the star is different. My nappy has a 16 point star and the Lenox is a 12 point star. My piece is a blown mold and I believe that the Lenox Comet was a "cut" glass. The pattern in my nappy is backwards of that in the Lenox, meaning that the comet is going in a clockwise direction and mine counter-clockwise. Also there is a pattern around the edge that seems to be tassel ?

It is about 8-1/2" long and 5-3/4" wide. If anyone knows what the pattern is that would be fantastic ! Oh yes and there are no logos or maker marks that I can find.

your nappy is EAPG and is U. S. Glass #15111 Peacock; AKA: Slewed Horsehoe, ca.1908. Some pieces of this pattern have been reproduced; a version of the punch set is currently made and offered by Smith Glass as Pinwheel and Star. Your nappy is most likely an original piece, as I'm not awre of it being reproduced.

A US Glass Company export catalog dated 1915 labels this piece as "pickle dish" The name given to this pattern in the catalog is "No. 15111 Peacock Pattern"

I have this pattern as well but mine is the base for the deep 10" bowl called an orange bowl by the company, as well as a flared 12" punch bowl. Very hard to find pattern.

Yes if hadn't been for Tallcakes & Paul71, I would still be looking for this pattern ????
