I paid $75.00 for this coin operated thrift store "pick" and it took an entire year to refinish the wood, glass and its workings. In perfect game playing order with only a few blemishes of wear! Does anyone have any information of what this pieces history may be?

I just recently bought a Super Frame Bowler that I have been working on. It was painted, but I was able to remove the paint to see the original graphics. Mine will have to be repainted. I did find on this site that it is a 1954 http://www.pinrepair.com/bowl/ I would love to get a copy of the manual if you were lucky enogh to get one and more pictures of your machine. Let me know if you get more information on the game.

      Thanks
      Dave

Thank you Dave for the pin repair web site information. It is very interesting but I still have yet to find my exact machine to compare notes and its value. I do have the original manual and schematic documents! Do we have the same machine?
    3. Dave, 14 years ago
Definitely the same machine. I do not have any idea on the value. I traded a pinball machine for mine as a project. I would realy love to get a coy of the maual and would pay your expenses. I also need a good picture of the bowling pin lid, mine did not have any graphics on it when I striped it. That is the only difference I can see in our machines. Mine is tore down right now to get ready for paint. I still have mechanical problems but gave up for a while beacause of no manual. Your help would be appreciated.
      Thank you
      Dave

Pretty Rare. I looked at a Arcade site and they state they know noone who has one. Heres a link for a old ad, print it up and keep it with machine. Dave

I have a 6 player "Clover" shuffle alley. I think it is a United brand. It's in storage and has been for 20 years. Built in 53. Used to have it in the living room back in the 60's, had to put it away when got married in 65. You guys inspire me to get it out and restore it.

I have a ball jet-bowler. bought it also for $75, had to drag it out of some guys basement. It lights up, and the numbers all clear, but that is all it does. I have had it for about 8 years with the intention of fixing it, and just havent gotten to it. I flipped the surface up and was overwelmed with all the wires. Yours looks awesome.

I have so many easy thoughts to get her running-do you have a schematic?
    13. mysticspot mysticspot, 14 years ago
Nope, no schematics. (and I misspelled it, its a bally). I also have a 3 dimention sky gunner archade (one with a big machine gun that you look into and fire), with the same problem. I just need to do some homework, and get my butt in gear and fix them. I did think it was something easy with the jet bowler, sprayed all the connections, and made sure none were loose. My hobby is vending machines (gum/peanut/etc), alot easier to work on.

I have a Chicago coin puck bowler that my dad purchased from a hot dog store in the 1950s. Haven't used it in years but would like to sell it. It's huge and has not been altered in any way.

I have a Chicago Coin Bowling Machine. It looks like the pictures above but not redone. It is original condition. I have the puck. It works. I am wondering what it would be worth?
