OK all you train collectors. You are about to meet the blonde beauty. I have the above pictured 1688 Lionel Lines Locomotive with Tinder box along with other peices and locomotive, 1041 transmitter and the entire set of train tracks.
I know absolutely nothing about what I have been given from my fathers passing. I know it was his as a child. All pieces are in great condition, wheels roll freely and has been well taken care of. Transmitter works also and has a horn button which I thought was extremely cool. (is the blonde showing).
I need guidance. Ihave plenty more pictures and the numbers off the other peices and want to sell but would stay awake at night if I knew someone ripped me off.
So put your conductor hats on and help a poor girl out.

Ok I have one I just sent in for repair if you go by collectors book they go for between 80 and 150 just for the engine by the look in the pic it would be considered in fair condition so figure engine is in 100 dollar range figure around 25 a car the track being used is inexpensive transfomer it depends on shape, but I would guess by the rest it would be fair also so its all worth between 350 and 500 depending on how bad some wants it.
