These vases produced between 1920-30's are some of the best glass from this period and uniquely Czech in design. The vases are hand-blown and furnace decorated. they are also considered cased glass witch means the pieces has many layers of glass. This shape has furnace polished rim and a ground pontil to the base.
Decor:
1 Millifiore Cane with a flash iridescence
2 Amber Marquetry
3 Imbedded metalic dust
4 Satin finished marquetry
Enjoy, and send pics if you find them in another decor (they are very limited by decor)
Great form and I love the Marquetry.
do you own all of these?
yes but the first one is not my piece just my pic...out of the 20 or so pics the bottle green one is the most unique (it is signed)
how is it signed? it is interesting. it really looks like Nash Chintz from the pic (can't really see the detail though)
CZECHOSLOVAKIA in the arch. It is on the thinners side and the surface is smooth. the internal metal is greenish with trails of oxidation (rust)
The third one is again interesting, now.
