This is my beautiful art nouveau glass vase. I dream it is Tiffany, but this type of iridescent glass seems to have been made by lots of other makers e.g. Steuben, Loetz etc. Apparently, even some real collectors find it difficult to tell them apart. Unfortunately, it's not marked and I have been unable to find another a similar shape with this applied glass. Hopefully, someone has come across this design before. Although its very nice to dream - I would rather be put straight!
This is gooooorgeous!....:-)
Hello, Wonderful piece of glass you have there! This is known as a Tornado Vase, although Northwood did produce these Vases, the version you have there is thought to have been produced in Europe, and is considered the Variant, this piece is worth about $850.00

I was elated to receive your comments and identification of this vase. I have viewed the wonderful website featuring Carnival Glass and it's opened up a whole new world of collecting which I had never come across. Some of the colours and designs look beautiful. It was amazing to see so many different variations of this Tornado Vase - I had searched previously, but failed to find another similar! I initially thought this vase was petite, but it seems to be the largest size 6.5" to the lower dipped edge of rim rising up to 7.4". I shall now go and give it a good clean very carefully! Thank you so much for enlightening me and sharing your knowledge - it's greatly appreciated.
No Problem Seagulls, Honestly I wouldn’t mind one of those in my own personal collection! Be Very Careful Cleaning it that is a real Treasure!
