    I don't know anything about this, except that I like it! I think it may be Chinese, but I don't know how old. the only markings are those two blue rings on the bottom. Anyone know what they can tell us?

      Thanks, walksoftly! I had just taken white flowers out of it before I took the pic, they really looked great in it. The green of the leaves and the white of the petals

      Hi

      This is definitely Chinese and dating from the 19th century and is known as Monochrome ware which was made popular during the Ming and Tang Dynastys. The double circles were normally reserved for imperial piece but almost always accompanied by a reign mark. This reign mark may not indeed be mark and period or in other words, the item was indeed made in the era that the reign mark depicts. These vases are lovely items and things to treasure definitely
