Assorted Salt Cellars include 2-3 Limoges T&V.(1 is similar, but has no mark) 1-Nippon, 2-Noritake, and 2 unknowns. They are the ones in the center of the group. I have issued a look at makers mark I cant really tell which side is up, so I took pics of both angles (pic #3)..Can anyone tell me what these 2 in the middle are? (pic 3)...Thank you for your help with this.
Thank you Amber.....Any idea about the middle salt cellars. Origin, maker, age?
Sorry pic #2 & 3
I was trying to ID these and saw this post, 12 yrs later. I have a set of 6 of these with the following note attached from my grandmother. " These 'dips' will be familiar to you. Aunt M... M... sent them to me when I was married [1910]. They were hand painted by a friend of hers who was disabled - at Plymouth, Wisconsin."
Mine clearly have Germany stamped on the bottom. It reads LLM to my eye. Whether that is standard monogram layout (f, l, m) for straight initials I don't know.
