blunderbuss2

I posted a Remington before that my neighbour has & there was quite a bit of interest. This is another one he has in the garage. Sorry, but I couldn't move it because of the weight & certainly wasn't going to move the stack of lumber. Took the best pics I could.
It seems to me that I have seen this before labeled as something like "Gretian urn" or something like that. Any ideas other than me having to get the bloody thing out & search for minute markings. Value for repro or orig.?
Bellin, it is a waste as the thing is under a work counter in our garage & would take a major effort to get out. Weighs a lot more than that Remington.
So far all I can find out is that it's attributed to someone called Waager (who I can find NOTHING about) and the statue is called "Arab Woman with Urn"...and the bronze ones I've found are not cheap. Might be worth moving some lumber! :-)
Hey, thanks chinablue. Andre' will be glad to hear that. I was just wondering yesterday if anybody would ever come up with any info.
You're very welcome, blunderbuss! If I find out anything about 'waager' I'll let you know. :-)
Please get help and take her out of the garage! she is eautiful, I love it!...:-)
inky, I agree that it should be where people can appreciate it. My neighbour has bone cancer & the bronze is the last thing on his mind though. I don't know what will happen to this & the Remington when he is gone.

Were you able to find out more about this piece? Very sweet of you blunderbus for helping your friend.
